Blurbing*

* I got a fill (nails touched up) last Friday and it sucked.

* I need to get up and do something with Isabelle, we're going nuts in the house.

* Is starting to get antsy for vehicle number 2.

* So excited for my apt on Monday, get to hear your heart beat baby!

* My husband has a new plan for our lives, and I love it!

* Can't wait for nap time so I can do my bible study for PWOC.

* What to make for lunch?

* Isabelle needs a trim, her first haircut. Does she get bangs or not?

* I want to go shopping and spend at least 500 dollars on myself, hahahaha! That's so not happening! (tear)

* Realizing that El Paso is our home and will be for at least another 3 years. Excited to really start plugging into church, PWOC, and establishing close friends down here! Goodbye Wisconsin.

* Sick of the nausea I get with meat still.

* I miss my grandpa.

* Very Pissed off that budget cuts are being made in the Military.

* Secretly wishing for my brother to get married or another grandchild to come...Isabelle's lonely!

* 3 out of the 6 bridesmaids from Jessica's wedding (including myself) are prego!

* I am thinking of cutting my hair again...this length annoys me. It's so in between.

* I love my husband soooo freaking much!

Happy Birthday Hunny Girl, Your 2!

2 Years has flown by! Oh Isabelle how smart and funny you are!
This time 2 years ago mom n dad were still trying to figure out what to name you, and do we love your name and you oh so much!

As of now you are saying short sentences of 3 words at a time. You are going threw the motions of going on the potty, however you won't actually pee yet. You are getting there!
I know you are 24.5 pounds but not sure of your height. You are still in 24 months but finally fitting your 2T jeans. Your are a petite little thing so it's nice to see your jeans not hanging off your waist.
Favorite t.v. shows are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Elmo (Sesame Street), and some Curious George. Second to Elmo (whom your obsessed with) Grover is growing high on the list! Which I think is too cute because he was my favorite on Sesame Street. (Thank you Isabelle for not liking any of that Dora,Yo Gabba Gabba, n those other WEIRD and ANNOYING shows!)
You're imagination is growing daily. Watching you play mommy with your dolly and change her diaper is cool to see.
You are very into singing nursery rhymes. You like 'the itsy bitsy spider', 'do you know the muffin man', 'apples n bananas', and 'the wheels on the bus.'
You look like an 'Otto' with your Grandma Kim's eyes! The resemblance is sometimes creepy. Your jesters and body movements are like mine, which freaks your daddy out daily. You can thank that to having a stay at home mom whom you're around 24/7.
You do NOT like having me leave you; no matter if it's to 'gamma's' house or to daycare at bible study. The minute we pull up to any of these places the tears fall and you scream at me no mama no mama! Soon I hope to get you over this, but I understand the feeling. Cause I was like that too!
You are a bit of a picky eater, the trick is to not let you snack and you'll eat what's put in front of you. Still not a big meat eater, chicken would have to be your favorite if we had to choose.
Fries and chips you would eat 24/7 if you could, you ask for candy daily, and LOVE milk.
You're recent phrases include things like:
'What the...'
'Woopie Daisy's' when you drop or spill things' also 'Sugar' when you get upset or drop something, it replaces the word 'shoot' and 'shit!' Which you caught mommy saying a little too much. :) When you catch us saying naughty words that's what you say, you yell 'no, naughty word!.'
Every day we pray before meals, you have learned this is as well. Although you look around you fold your hands and say 'Amen.'
The obsession with your stroller has not stopped. Now it's 'walk mama, green stroller.' You also have to do everything yourself. So now it takes twice as long to get ready. You must put your pants, socks, shoes, and brush your hair by yourself. You do not like any help which means we leave the house with your hair looking a hot mess 75% of the time. You constantly make us laugh with the the things you say and the way you play.
We love you so much Isabelle Olivia and can't wait for our McDonald's run with you later and the smile on your face when you pick out your fish!
Happy Birthday Isabelle.

Superbowl Baby!!!

Well our Green Bay Packers have made it! We are going to the Superbowl!!!! Wat Wat!!!!!
We are so excited up in here. I believe we're going to have a Superbowl party; although it makes me a little sad because my dear Brooke n her fam will not be attending. We had such a good time at our friends house last year back in Killeen, Texas.
Sunday we had a fun spread of taco dip, cheese, crackers, veggies, n dip, and lets not forget the cheesecake! What more could a prego ask for?
Isabelle was saying 'go pack' and it was just a nice relaxing Sunday.

Baby Gehl # 2

12 weeks and counting...

Well the bump is firming up, I am just happy I am starting to loose that ackward 'beer gut' look...ha. Thank goodness we're in colder weather so I can disguise it. :)
We have been very anxious about the idea that we aren't finding out the sex of baby # 2.Of course for differant reasons. Jake would just like to know and well I am a little nervous about being prepared. But we have all the neccesities so I need to chek that box off. And there is just so much cute stuff out there!!! Ahhh, but waiting is okay and it's all going to be worth it. I can shop after he or she gets here.

Good to be home

Isabelle is a big Grandpa's Girl. With her Papa Chuck and Grandpa Jim! I'll have to get a picture of her n G-pa Jim...

Isabelle and I are home now; our flights in were great! I am stiff as a board today from sleeping on the plane. Isabelle did awesome, I was a bit worried this time. My tummy is starting to stick out a bit and any pressure or pushing causes me to need to go potty and just darn uncomfortable. So thank goodness we had a seat for her on both flights, let me add she slept the whole second flight! Halelujah

Isabelle finally warmed up to the snow, though she didn't like being directly in it.
Her favorite thing to do was to shovel.
She also played almost every day with play doe and markers. Let me tell you, Gamma Olivia's table constantly had piles of her 'artwork' and crayons. :)

Isabelle knows all her colors! She now likes to go 'on' the potty. Meaning she does all the right moves, getting on the toilet, wiping, etc...however she doesn't actually pee. Ha, well I guess that'll be the next thing to come. (I hope!)
She is saying 3 words at a time now, which is prety neat. Let me tell ya our convo's are pretty funny!
Everything from 'mom don't take away' to 'let's go park mom.' It's so great to hear!

Better late than never

she didn't like the snow at all!

So here are a few picks from Christmas...these ones are my favorite. This month has been a long one, seems like Christmas was ages ago!
Enjoy!

I'm still here!

Isabelle and I have been in Wisconsin...but tomorrow we fly home! I know she is ready to go just as much as I am. The last two days she's been asking for daddy, and calling him when she's sad. Too sweet. Any who, I can not wait to get back into the groove of things and start my many little house projects...and share some fun pictures.

This visit has been very exhausting; emotionally and physically. Between saying goodbye to my wonderful grandfather and Isabelle and myself being sick...well we are ready to be home. Jake misses us too and we need our man!

On another note I just want to say that I now realize why I have never had a lot of girlfriends. Well I know why, it's just been made very clear to me again why I don't. BECAUSE THERE IS ALWAYS D-R-A-M-A. Ugh I am just annoyed at the thought. I am not the sappy type. Every once in a while it comes out, but not often.I am a hard ass that loves hard and doesn't need a million explanations, especially if I say 'it's okay.' I am taking a break from all the 'hoo ha' and going to just focus on me n my family of 3 1/2 these next couple of months. I can't take women telling me certain things and hearing all the nonsense, and I don't even live by these people...I am states away! Keep me out of it.
With that said I feel much better and am going to go snuggle by Isabelle and take a nap.

***WUSAAA*** :)

Heaven has another angel

Great Grandpa and Isabelle.

Well the new year has come, and with it sadness.
My grandpa passed this evening just 2 days shy of his 81st birthday. My heart is breaking as I write...Isabelle and I are going home to be near family. We fly out Monday.
Isidro Lopez was born in Puerto Rico on January 3, 1935.
He lived a life to be proud of. A hard worker and a loving father. He made us laugh till we cried and I can still here is voice singing silly tunes in Spanish.
We have a big family on my mother's side and we are missing him greatly. Elminia, Olivia, Isidor, Estherlina, Rita, Vincent, and Martha; his children are missing him dearly. Heaven has another angel and we are all at peace knowing that our grandpa, great grandpa, husband, and daddy are in heaven with the Lord now.
I love you n miss you so abuelo
