A growing pair

These girls are growing by the minute! It is delightful and scary. So here are some pictures of them from these last few weeks. A picture is worth a thousand words, right?
Have a great weekend! Photobucket

A week in Wisconsin

Well we are back, again, from Wisconsin. The hubs came home last week and informed me of 10 days of leave he had (for free.) So back home we went. Both drives went smooth, there and back. The first drive we did with one stop and it took 9 hours and 45 minutes. The return trip we had 2 stops, and made it back in 9 hours and 5 minutes. Pretty awesome. It was such a last minute, fun, decision...I had the girls packed, a trip to the park, dinner ate, and even squeezed in a run between 4 and 8:30 pm! The leaves are nothing but oranges, yellows, and reds. The air is so crisp and cool. Jake stocked up on some awesome jerky, cheeses, and pork products. Along with a box of NY strip steaks courtesy of Buppa.(His grandpa) And I managed to squeeze in some rummaging and stock up on my favorite candles. Here are some pictures of a morning Jake and I spent with Isabelle...how my little shorty is growing up too fast.
Rummaging....sometimes you find the GREATEST stuff. Right? So my MIL and FIL found a table at a flee market this summer and got it for the girls, while rummaging no Wednesday I found this for 3 dollars.
A perfect match! 3 dollars for this black chalk board. Isabelle is excited for 'school' :) Photobucket

Tumbling

Isabelle did a short tumbling class at the YMCA this summer. Her last class Jake was able to check out, she was pretty happy her daddy was able to see her 'moves' since he had been gone a month. Here are some pictures of her last class.
Isabelle really liked tumbling, and we will be signing her up again. Now I am off to see if we are going to enroll her in a part time pre-K program at school. She is growing so fast! Photobucket

Still Here!

It has been way too long! We are at Ft. Campbell, Ky....still opening boxes. Where did the summer go? Well I am back and ready to blog. For the handful that actually read this. :) It is in the 60's here, rainy day, football snacks are out, and we are enjoying the NFL ticket! We had an awful, awful, moving company-of course we didn't know that until we started seeing our house hold goods come off the moving truck. Lordy Lord, we didn't even open up boxes and could tell we were in for it. I just sent 20 emails with picture's to a case manager for Covan movers. I still don't have the name of the Company which packed us (they are the ones at fault) but plan on getting the name tomorrow. We are enjoying the all the green, NOT the pesty mosquitoes. :) Lydia's Ortho Consult has been delayed, huge bummer. I hope she is up and over her surgery come Thanksgiving...she wants to walk and go so bad...more on that another time. What's new with me? My hair is getting longer, I am trying to grow it out and am finally feeling like it's getting somewhere. I am back to running again. After Lydia's SB walk/run I probably ran about 4 times. Isabelle is growing up TOO fast, my oh my the things we talk about with her. Boy does she have an imagination too. It is crazy and so cool. The girls are doing well sharing a room. And Jake? Well he's happy he has his Miller, his NFL ticket, and that the weather is cooling down. He misses his other half, his Harley :). But he knows it's in safe keeping so it's all good. Have a great Sunday all! Some pictures of the last week we were home!
