only 6 weeks left?

It's that time again...the Holidays are upon us. Where has this year gone? Heck if I know? Christmas shopping is in full swing. This year I don't have to cook Thanksgiving dinner which I am so happy about. It is allowing me to really get a head start on Christmas shopping. Seriously though, in a little less than 2 weeks it will be December? Miss Lydia's come off in 2 days.Thank you Lord. It has been a long 6 weeks. She can finally bath normally and she will be lighter! Her feet look gorgeous. When she was recast-ed 2 weeks ago, well I was never so happy to see a pair of feet before! She sure has some big ole feet, and momma can't wait to put her shoes on her. Poor girl is always playing in the coat/shoe closet. Well now she can actually put them on. I have been on such an emotional roller coaster lately with Lydia's physical set backs. So pray for me those who read this blog. My heart is aching and I am need of some prayer! That's all I would like to share for now... For Turkey day are headed to Charleston, SC. It will be great to see my cousins, see the ocean, have our kids play together. Needless to say not have to worry about which side of the family we'd have to pick for Thanksgiving day...yay! Heaven knows boat rides and beach days at the ocean are just amazing. Hoping everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. There is so much to be thankful for, so much God has blessed us with. A time to reflect, take a deep breath in and smile for all the good that is around us. My thoughts and prayers this Holiday are with our troops that have recently left Ft. Campbell for another tour to Afghan. Jacob has been luck enough to be able to stay, but every I turn there is the unpleasant reminder of all the daddy's and mommy's, daughter's, and son's, that aren't here. Happy Thanksgiving!
