playtime

Here is a picture of the girls from when we were in Wisconsin...I couldn't help myself with the thought of putting Lydia in Isabelle's buggy. My girlfriend's daughter managed to do it with her little sister, and I thought how funny it would be if my girls did it. Isabelle seemed to enjoy the short lived time of being able to push her sissy around.

I am relieved and proud to say Isabelle plays well with Lydia. However, I am sure a day will come when the tides will turn.
But until then, it's fun running for the camera to grab some snap shots of their play time.

So Big!

Can you believe this little nugget is going to be 3?

Oh she's getting so big! Here is a picture of her birthday invites I put together.

She is having a Candyland theme party, with her girlfriends. I am so excited, for her. We are also getting a princess bounce house. She is going to have a blast.

Have good Thursday!

~*~Stunna Shades~*~

Oh yea the girl's are rocking it this year!
Last Monday we hit up the mall and found sunglasses for 99 cents at Gymboree! 'Yeppers' as Isabelle says. Sweet deal. I purchased 8 glasses for Isabelle and 2 for Lydia.
So here is our fashion show, don't hate! Kidding!
Beware, these photos are obnoxious!
(On a side note, I found a 2 for 1 deal at Aldo's on shades so picked up 2 pair for 8 dollars and found a 3 rd pair for only $3.28 at New York and Co.)

Sunday Football

Football is coming to an end soon. Our Green Bay Packers play today. If we win then it's off to the NFC Championship! Gooo Packa's.

Our other Cheerleader is sleeping. She has had a nasty cold since Wednesday. Unbeknown to me, when I woke up with Lydia at 7 this morning Isabelle had all ready thrown up 3 times and had gone through 2 sets of pj's. The dirty clothes in the dryer all ready.
I am so thankful Jake took care of her and didn't need to wake me. I'm one lucky gal.
(Notice the dolly? :).)

2 Blue, a Green and Brown

What a fun mixture of eye color in this casa.

Can you believe it's about 65 out and later tonight we are supposed to get a snow storm? We'll see.
So during our longggg walk this am we saw all the homes going up in our neighborhood! Beautiful Santa Fe style homes. Jake and I were drooling and at one point figuring how we could sell this home and buy another...ha yea right! Seriously considering asking for some floor plans on a couple of homes to keep in a folder for down the road when we do build our dream home.

A few photos to show what we've been doing since being back from vacation, really we're just on a vacation from vacation. :) Have a good Sunday!

Happy New Year

So I am late in doing so, but a Happy New Year to all!
Oh did we a wonderful New Years Eve and Day. Jake and I of course took full advantage of our babysitters (thank you to both our parents!!!) We celebrated with my sister n law and her husband. A beautiful and expensive dinner at the Harbor House in Milwaukee. Look it up! It's gorgeous. We had reservations at 5:15 and didn't leave till 8. Among one of the delicious entree's was oysters! I have had them before and they were awful slimy, grimy, things. However they came highly recommended and I know being at the wonderful restaurant we were at they were worth a second try. They were so good. Jake loved them as well. Everything down to the cocktails and coffee that concluded our dinner was good. A beautiful window seat of Lake Michigan, with the waves slapping the rocks. It was a wonderful dinner and conversation followed by drinks at my sister n law's house. The fun part after dinner was shots of Rumchata, a sweet liquor that literally tastes like the left over milk in your bowl after having cinnamon toast crunch! Yum...I don't have a picture yet of dinner, but here is a picture of the sexy hubby and my beautiful sister n law Sara.

New Years Day my heart was heavy with it being the one year anniversary of my Grandpa passing. BUT, it was a beautiful day all in the same because we had our girl's dedicated at my parents church. Right now it's the closest home church Jake and I have. It's a church that feels home to us; where for years I have come when in Wisconsin and where Jake now attends, where our little family now goes. We are just so thankful to be able to dedicate our girls in front of the church members we have known to grow and love and in front of our parents.

from boots to flip flops

Well we are back to this oh so sunny side of Texas. We went from a snow storm to 60 degree weather in a matter of 12 hours. So much to tell and so little time. We had an amazing vacation and it was sad to say good bye as always, but so good to be going home.
The girls were spoiled and Jake and I had a break to ourselves a handful of times. We were able to see a movie, have date night(s), and a New Year's that's going down in the book. The girl's had plenty of time with their grandparents and we were able to take Isabelle to the ever famous "Betty Brinn' children's museum and a run to Isabelle's Uncle's firehouse.

Well, here is a glimpse of vaca...
