Leaf Piles
I caught some awesome pictures of Isabelle playing in the leaves last week. It has been perfect, beautiful, amazing, calming, and great smelling fall week(s). Kids are out all over raking big piles and jumping in, everyone seems to be out on a walk or at the park. I think we know it's all coming to an end when all to soon it will be too cold to go out. Isabelle likes to pretend she is a bird in the nest of leaves.
Lydia isn't so sure about the piles. She prefers to hold one leaf at a time. :)
The house is filled with fragrant cooking smells from hearty soups, chilli's, to pies, and baked cookies. Mmmmm
We just got back from another trip to Nashville, to go see Lydia's orthopedic surgeon. Turns out we aren't going to recast her left leg but leave it be....
So we enjoyed a nice breakfast at a cool diner called 'Noshville.' Again, Jake was able to make the appointment which I am so thankful for. Up until today I was not comfortable driving to Nashville myself. Definitely am confident with the drive now though.
Well, I am off to make loaves of banana bread!
FYI, tonight is another show time of one of our favorite shows 'New Girl.'
If you have never watched it I suggest you do. Its with Zoey something or other...she is awesome, as are her roomates on the sitcom. Check it out!
Oh and Isabelle had to run out in a small rain that came down so out came her rain boots and splash she did!
